  • She does not communicate with her staff about changes in policy and procedures. The lack of communication ends up with staff getting into trouble for not following new procedures that they were not made aware of. Decisions are made without consulting affected staff to see how the changes may effect a process.

  • It just seems like my voice and opinion does not matter. No clear communication as to what is happening in our work area. Working in fear and constant stress about if I don’t do my work to her liking I will lose my job.

  • Gaylene has poor management skills. Under her management productivity went down and everyone fell behind on their workload. Hiring her was damaging to the company. Gaylene cannot be trusted. She takes credit for her employees hard work. If an employee says something she does not like, she will ruin this persons reputation. She looks for the negative in all her staff and focuses on the negative. She operates on instinct instead of facts. She is two faced. Under her management 1/3 of staff went on stress leave. It was a great mistake hiring her. She is a bully and there is a lot of damage control that needs to be done to get her group back to normal.

  • Rather than being a good leader, I would say she is more of a Dictator. She has never involved her staff in any of the decision makings. Talking about communication, it has always flown to the lower side.

  • It has been hard working under her when she lead us. It was less of leadership and more of dictatorship. Communication was always one way and we never had a chance to put in our two cents. Finally she was out of the door when senior management got involved.

  • Terrible leader, just as we said would ruin the place and then be gone, seems to be a common theme of this individuals background. Manages likes a warden in a prison as this is what the area turned into no one wants to work there but has to all they need a job. Stress level there is none since she has been ousted, finally.

  • Gaylene is not a Manager....she is a bully who has absolutely no respect for the people who work for her. So glad when she left our organization a while ago..feel bad for those who work for her now.

  • Gaylene should not be in a role of Leadership/Authority at any Corporation. Very toxic individual. Very disrespectful to staff that work under her.
